3) اللَّهُمَّ لا سَهْلَ إِلاَّ ما جَعَلْتَهُ سَهْلاً، وأنْتَ تَجْعَلُ الحَزْنَ إذَا شِئْتَ سَهْلاً

O Allah! Nothing is easy except what You have made easy. If You wish, You can make the difficult easy.

Oh Allah, I seek refuge in You from worry and grief, from helplessness and laziness, from cowardice and stinginess, and from overpowering of debt and from oppression of men.

O Allah! It is Your mercy that I hope for so do not leave me in charge of my affairs even for a blink of an eye and rectify for me all of my affairs. None has the right to be worshipped except You.

6)  “Oh Allah! Indeed I am Your servant son of your male servant and female servant. My forelock is in your hand (i.e. You have control over me) and your
judgment upon me is assured, and your decree upon me is just I ask you with every name that you have named yourself with or revealed in your book (Quran), or taught to any of your creation or kept with yourself in the knowledge of the unseen that is with you that you make the Quran the life of my heart, and the light of my chest and the banisher of my sadness and the reliever of my distress.”

7)   I know you are there Allah. I know you see my tears. I know you hear my prayers. I know you are testing me. And all I ask from you is to strengthen my Imaan so I can handle the struggles in life and have patience. I love you my Lord. My Allah. Please keep me safe” and my loved ones safe Ameen

8)  ‘Verily, we belong to Allah and verily, unto Him shall we return. O Allah! Reward me for the calamity that has befallen me and grant me better than it.’

9)   We ask Allah (swt), the Controller of hearts, to help us be in His constant remembrance and to uproot arrogance, pride, and other spiritual ailments from our hearts.  O Allah, do not let us be of those who are turned away from Your signs due to our arrogance.  O Allah, make any increase in knowledge we attain a means for us to draw closer to You and refine our character and our hearts.  O Allah, let us be of those who come to You on the Day of Judgment—the Day when neither wealth nor children will avail us—with sound, pure and enlivened hearts.  Ameen.

10) Umm Salam: ” O Messenger of Allah, do hearts turn?”. “Yes. There is no creation of Allah from the sons of Adam…except that his heart is between the two fingers of the fingers of Allah, mighty and majestic. If Allah wills, mighty and majestic, he straightens it and if He wills he takes them off the mark.”..”O Messenger of Allah, will you not teach me a supplication that I can supplicate with for myself?” “Of course. Say “O Allah, Lord of the prophet Muhammed, forgive me my sin and remove the rage of my heart, and protect me from the tribulations that lead astray as long as you keep me alive”
(Ahmed)

Bism Allah ar-Rahman ar-Raheem
O Lord, please help me to say the truth in front of those who have authority. And please help me not to say that which is false in order to gain advantage. And please help me to see the other side of reality. And please protect me from bearing false witness due to difference of opinion. O Lord if you give me money, do not take my money. If you give me health please don’t take my sanity. If you give me success don’t take my humility. If you give me humility don’t take my dignity. O Lord, please teach me to love others as I love myself. And teach me to question myself as I question others. And please teach me how to forgive. Because the ability to forgive is the greatest of qualities. And because revenge is a major sign of weakness and regression. Please O Lord, protect me from arrogance upon my success. And protect me from despair upon my failure. O Lord, please remind me that failure preceeds success. O Lord if you do not give me success, please leave me determination to overcome failure. O Lord if you do not give me health, leave me my faith. O Lord, if I hurt others please give me the ability to apologize and if others hurt me, give me the ability to forgive. O Lord, if I forget Thee, don’t forget me as You are the Forgiving (al-Ghafur), the Clement (al-Halim), the Great (al-Kabir), Dominant and Able to do all things (al-Qadir).

15) Dua Before Sleeping

Saheh Bukhari Narrated Al-Bara bin `Azib: Allah’s Apostle said to me, “When you want to go to bed, perform ablution as you do for prayer, then lie down on your right side and say:

‘Allahumma aslamtu wajhi ilaika, wa fauwadtu `Amri ilaika wa aljatu zahri ilaika, raghbatan wa rahbatan ilaika, lamalja’a wa la manna mink a ill a ilaika. Amantu bikitabi kalladhi anzalta wa bi nabiyyikal-ladhi arsalta’.

O Allah, I submit myself to you, entrust my affairs to you, turn my face to you, and lay myself down depending upon you, hoping in you and fearing you. There is no refuge, and no escape, except to you. I believe in your book (the Quran) that you revealed, and the Prophet (PBUH) whom you sent.

If you should die then (after reciting this) you will die on the religion of Islam (i.e., as a Muslim); so let these words be the last you say (before going to bed)” While I was memorizing it, I said, “Wa birasiulikal-ladhi arsalta).’ The Prophet said, “No, but say: Wa binabiyyi-kalladhi arsalta
